Webcam imagery assist mountain drivers to judge the weather and driving. We are providing a "bird's eyes" view of Idyllwild from four webcams. The first is located near the town center of Idyllwild. The second cam location is in our nearest town, as the crow flies, Hemet. The third locale is 180 degrees in the opposite direction, Palm Springs. The last is located about a mile out of town on Highway 243. The live webcam image below is from Georgias. Georgia's webcam is facing south and the street you see is our main drag, North Circle Drive. THE IDYLLWILD SCRAPBOOK An area of multimedia that we think doesn't get the attention it should is that of 360 degree panorama photography. It simply is the best way to artificially visualize a subject, whether its a landscape, a family photo, or a product shot. The Idyllwild Scrapbook has about 30 such photos in its album. Enjoy !!

AROUND TOWN
That's right, Idyllwild's own legendary rocker, Roger Dutton and friends will be performing live at the Rustic Theatre on Sunday, March 14. If you haven't heard Roger perform yet, you are in for a truly remarkable and most unique treat. Roger will be joined by a littany of local talent that have performed with some of the greatest musicians of all time. Doors open at 6:15 PM. 
There will be a film event this Friday, February 26, 2010 at 7:00 PM. 
This Friday, February 26 at 7:00 PM, we will show the romance silent blockbuster from the visual director extraordinaire, Frank Borzage, the recipient of three Academy Awards, 7TH HEAVEN. The setting is pre-World War I Paris and it follows Diane (Janet Gaynor) and Chico (Charles Farrell) in their journey of a lifetime. Gaynor won the first Best Actress Award Oscar for her magical performance. Below are the rise & set times (24 hour format) of all the planets in our solar system. The celestial bodies are arranged in chronological rise time order and can be experienced in the Idyllwild area by looking in the lower southeast sky (towards Garner Valley). If the name of the planet is in purple, then it is currently visible under suitable conditions. To view the setting planet, look in the lower southwest sky, towards Hemet.
